At least the Titanic actually got built and isn't from a story book.

Also... nature built the iceberg.

The titanic was sunk to a multiple of reasons.
1. Improper steel manufacturering
2. Ignoring reports of ice in the water because you are "unsinkable"
3. The iceberg is always larger under the water.
