Yea.. my boyfriend said that the only reason he started talking to me was because he thought I was pretty. Afterwards, it became more about the personality thing.

and no offence but in my opinion you want your partner to think your cute or beautiful ect in some physical way, who would want to be in a relationship and be satisfied with them only thinking ur personality is good? i mean does this work for anyone idk it wouldn't make me happy

Also, your thoughts/feelings towards someone really alter the way you perceive them. When I first met my best friend, I thought she was average looking. Now that I love her almost more than anything in the world, I think she's beautiful. Just remember boys and girls, the people who love you will think you're beautiful no matter how you look like.

Deviledapple, I am happily married to a woman who KNOWs she has never been the one to find hot on first sight, after we got to know each other for almost a year, we fell in love with each other, and its like an annoyingly swwet hollywood movie ever since. Now, I am probably an 7 or 8, she is a 5 or 6, I don't know that for sure, fact is, when we see each other, there is the biggest smile on our faces. And if I wasn't married to her, I would totally hit on you, just for the glimpse of your fine personality you just let me see here. Rrrrr...
I am astonished how few people can apparently NOT imagine, a blind person could fall in love with another.

First looks then personality. Why? Because I don't see anyone walking around meeting new people with eyes closed getting to know them and then say "Oh I love your personality now how do you look?"
