worked in an electronics store, had an older customer try to tell me that an absent coworker has quoted him $100 on an order he placed, half the store cost, when i told him i doubted it, he said, fine, here's the receipt. it was an invoice for the total amount of $250, unpaid.

Walmart was literally the WORST job I've ever had! I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

"Don't have money to waste" yet the person is buying candy. Wasting money on something that's non-nutritious and fattening, rather than proper food, or donating to those who would buy something other than candy.

It'd be even easier in Canada. Just try to find a Tim Hortons. They throw away bags of food every few hours because of our health codes.

I once had a customer move the closed sign and put her stuff on an empty till even though there was an open one five feet away, and then got annoyed because she had to wait for us to move the cash drawers so we could serve her. God forbid you actually stand behind another person in the actual line.
