In America our grades/class/ages are divided in an almost numeric order:
Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K)
Kindergarten
1st Grade
2nd Grade
3rd Grade
....
12th Grade
College/ University
So 10th grade is school when you're like 15 or 16
