If anything, their age makes the fact that they've absorbed this message even more unsettling. Most kids' movies with female leads seem to end with those leads getting together with a guy, so a lot of girls end up thinking that's the main goal they should be striving towards.

Well, a lot of girls want a prince whether someone tells them or not. It all depends on people's aspirations. Some girls want careers, or adventure, and some girls want romance. It's the same way for men.

I'd agree actually. When you're poor, but have to support for two people, pretty hard. Wouldn't be the world's best marriage

It's very difficult for a poor couple to become rich. It's much easier for a rich person to eventually find a spouse. So the boy who chose rich and single chose best...he can still get married.
