No. They're just perceived as more likely to have more self esteem than women. Though that does not apply to all.

Cause a lot of the time you see men that are balding badly with beer bellies and ugly clothes thinking they're hot shit, when average looking women develop eating disorders.
I'm not saying that only men and women are like this but it's more obvious than the opposite.
