Unpopular opinion here, but while I don't support Marijuana for recreational use as it stands now, I do support it for medical use. And I define medical as pretty broad including therapists for their patients. It's use as being as good or even better than prescriptions is well documented and honestly is better.
However, if a system was in place to control and responsibly dispense for recreation use, then I honestly wouldn't have objections. Something like authorized dealers, but that's me.
I used to be like you lol. But then realized alcohol is more dangerous and it's used recreationally. I don't do it but I have done it and I rather have stoned drivers than drunk drivers
It's sad and annoying, because everyone smells like it constantly and they always like to ask why you don't smoke it. You can't say that you don't like it because they get all defensive and say "WELL IT HELPS ME FOR MY HEADACHES AND IT EASES MY STRESS SO YOU SHOULD STOP BASHING IT THAT MAKES YOU A HATER". Ugh.
You really tend to be a rarity if you don't smoke marijuana in Denver.
Interesting. I totally understand. Up here in Texas people smoke it all the time. I used to be in with the pothead crowd (though I've never smoked anything in my life) and all the time that's all I've ever heard. "It's great you should try it!" "I bet you'd be really funny when you're high!" It really got on my nerves.
Marijuana is one of 3 exception where illegal does not corrolate with being bad. The people in congress can be ignorant to the things they do not care to understand. This is a huge substance in our community as well as alcohol. The only difference between Mari and alcohol is that one makes you belligerent and black out while the other puts you to sleep or smile intensely. Try to overdose on it I dare you.
