It's simple supply and demand and refrigeration. A frozen beef patty last much longer in a freezer than any vegetable in a fridge. Fresh should always cost more. Don't like it? Too bad.

But its also why some less well off people get fat or unhealthy. People critisise them for their weight and the resources that are taken up treating malnutrition diseases, yet dont address the proplem of how they are supposed to pay for thr right food.

Fresh food is more labor-intensive than prefabricated trash. More labor= higher cost.

Its pretty fucking basic. Less americans buy the salad and the ones who do are willing to pay more, so in order to make a profit, they have to change more. Its whats wrong with american costomers not companies, much less america as a whole
