Well its important recognise that it wasnt the characters choice to wear that, being fictional afterall kinda means other people, namely the people who created her, make choices for her. So instead of asking how its helpful for her to dress "like a slut" maybe ask instead why its considered appropriate for a character in a childrens show to be dressed that way when her male counterparts are not.
