Yeah, homeless people are people. They have stories, passions, knowledge. Little piece of advice: at least once, find a homeless man or woman you think seems nice, and ask him/her if you can just sit with him/her and talk. Many of them are just starving for kindness and respect. Like all of us.
exactly! too many act as if people who are homeless stop being human or are not allowed to have talents/skills. reasons for being homeless vary and many of us are a few paychecks away or a devastating illness away from being in the same situation. *sigh*
Ok they interviewed this guy he has always had musical talent. He was in music college but dropped out before graduation to join military. He's ex, think they said marines? He came back to the state's after serving. Few years later his wife committed suicide. He got depressed and his life spiraled down til he had nothing left. But he kept all his musical talent, it's great he's getting some recognition.
