All crust is, is bread. Why fill my hunger on bread alone when I can eat the part with the sauce and stuff on it. Unless they're the ones with hotdogs in em those shits are good.
I agree with guest. While the crust is nice (especially with garlic sauce), it is clearly not the point of the pizza. That is, if by crust, we mean the portion around the perimeter that has nothing on it.
The point of pizza is that both the body and the crust is combined. They could easily make just the crust and just the body, but they combine them and call it pizza. So the crust is clearly an essential part of pizza. Whether you like it or not.
