My favorite waitress story is when i got to tell two of my favorite customers (two 90 year old ladies who come in every sunday and eat together) that a random guy had paid for their meal. When i told them one of them grabbed my hand and just kept shaking it and laughing and crying at the same time and it was the greatest thing that had ever happened. I miss those two

The ones that get pissed off are usually old crotchety men that fought in the war, and hate all people under the age of 70 and think all kids are spoiled now.

I worked ticket sales at a movie theater and ppl would be like "one ticket" and if they're at that 50-70 range, it's basically my nightmare because if I give them a senior ticket and they think they're young, they'll yell at me for calling them old and if I give them an adult ticket and they're old enough, they'll yell at me for ripping them off. So every time I pretend I don't hear them and go "Sorry, how many adult, senior, and children tickets?" and then they'll usually clarify.
