*sighs*
Mom wont have the wifi on if the whole family dont have the same dinner, lunch and breakfast. And since she is a vegetarian...
...
But when there is only dad at home we can eat meat if we want to :D
What is she feeding you? Sometimes it's okay, but many times not. Does the doctor also know? Calcium and iron are important, as well as protein. It's much harder to get these things from vegetables and grain than it is from meat.
... Guys its okay, it really is. She dont make that gross vegan food they serve in school. (Im sorry but a pie with broccoli in it is no good) And we get the nutrients we need.
Oh my it feels like I said my mom was a monster
When parents force their CHOICES on their children, it's wrong. Just by mentioning how she controls the entire household it is simple to deduce that she is a sociopath. Her actions, thought out or not, are a form of both physical and mental abuse. The fact that you defend her immediately after raising concerns shows that you are experiencing symptoms similar to Stockholm syndrome.
To the people saying that the diet doesn't provide nutrients, you're also very wrong. As long as the correct quantities are consumed, beans and rice alone can make up for missing out on meat protein.
You need a lot more to do so. The variety you'd need to take also increases dramatically.
Meat A has nutrients 1, 2, and 3.
Vegetable B has nutrients 2 and 3
Vegetable C has nutrients 1 and 3
Therefore you must eat both B and C to get the same nutrition as what A would give.
Guest, if you dare insult my mom or my family I promise you you will regret it!!!
But its okay, as I said we eat meat when only dad is home ^_^
Thats like half the month. She works really much
I'm really not trying to be a killjoy, but I don't understand why people can't just chill out. I don't like the idea of eating animals, and I am certainly not for cruelty when killing them, but I am not vegetarian nor vegan. I was raised doing it and I've been unsuccessful in attempting to stop, which I've tried. There is a disconnect I feel, because I could never kill an animal myself or watch one being killed and then want to eat it. Call me a hypocrite or whatever, that's fine. All that aside, my boyfriend is a vegan. He chooses not to eat animals or products made with animal content. That's his decision and I don't poke fun, question it or argue, just as he doesn't do any of that with me. I actually admire him for it simply because in regard to mainstream options, that isn't very easy. Either way, let people eat how they eat and let that be it. People don't like when you force your beliefs on others or ridicule them for their choices.

This is why vegan breastfeeding mothers should be viciously punched in the boob.

Surprisingly accurate.
But, like with all people-
It varies.
