If I get disrespect from an upperclassmen then I am not respecting them. Being a college freshman does not mean I'm below everyone. I just know not to be a smartass about it
You kind of sound like you don't know what respect is. It's a synergistic thing, you're just supposed to defer to those above you. They way you say it makes it sound like it okay to be an asshole to assholes.
I treat everyone the way I want to be treated. But I won't hold you to any higher regard if you don't respect me, no matter what age. Im not going to be rude, but I'm not going to be very enthusiastic about being around or talking to you.

Garlog you do realize not everyone who is disrespected by older people reacts this way? The video was meant to be funny. But in no way would I react in the way he did. I would tell them that I feel offended, and if they continued to treat me badly then I'm not going to put up with it
