Whatever you do, don't step on a wasp. I read that when wasps are stepped on, squished, or whatever, they send pheromones that attract more wasps to the scene of the crime.
The one on the left is not a bee, it's a bumblebee an I've never heard of those being harvested for honey... They don't have a stinger at all, when I was a kid I chased them and kept them in my hands.
Bumble bees have a stinger, so can sting you. The stinger does not have barbs, so a bumble bee does not hurt itself upon stinging. Bumble bees are generally not aggressive and will only sting if they are protecting their nest or they are hurt.
