It's just sort of annoying that there's this huge other plot with Gru becoming more human and Margo (I think that's the oldest's name?) growing up and everyone just meshing in general that the minions steal the show from.

The more you hate on minions, the more people will hear about them. Publicity is publicity, good or bad. Just let this blow over, it will pass.
