i saw something really similar to this in orange beach, alabama this past week! little micro organisms huddle together in the water and wait for fish to come so they can attach themselves to the fish for transportation. they glow a greenish blue color to attract the fish when they sense friction. when the waves come you can see the whole wave light up and it's really amazing. also if you get in the water and splash around they will light up on your arms and stuff. it's really cool but it's really rare also and these type of organisms don't show up on camera :( you'll have to hope you find it for yourself!
