Try closing all apps and clearing the RAM before charging. If you're really desperate for it to charge as quickly as possible, then turn off GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and such too.

Or turn it off, mine charges in about two hours that way.

Yep turning off will charge it fastest. Mine charges from 0% to 100% in two hours, and the battery lasts for 2 days so whoever made this must have a terrible phone

My phone with its stock battery was pitiful, it would be down to 70% within two hours of unplugging, after it got to the point that it was dead within four hours I broke down and bought an after market double capacity battery now it's up to 10-12 hours easy before needing charged and still charges with two hours if left on which is rare since nobody contacts me anyway.

My phone would be days charging.... 18hours at the very least.
