Don't listen to the guest Rin. I know some outstanding police officers and sure you would be one as well, since your desire to be one is for admirable reasons and we could use more good ones. I support you 1000% in your dream of joining, go for it!

Yes there are two types of cops. The ones who truly want to help people and are kindhearted. These are the cops the news wont show you most of the time. Then there are the cops who think that just because they have a badge and wear a uniform, they are better than everyone else and are power hungry. There are more good, caring cops out there than bad ones. All of my friends that are policemen are some of the nicest guys/gals you'll ever meet and will go the extra mile just to help you out.

It seems kinda unneccessary for the manager to yell at you and call the cops when it was an accident and not a big deal at all. But I'm glad it ended happily :)
