I usually am. I just moved to a new city so I'm kind of just meeting new people. So far they've all been the same though

Calling it "more intellectual" isn't accurate. You have to actually like politics to want to talk about them.

Well, while i agree with you, their conversations still weren't considered intellectual. Mostly talking about other people and their actions, never talking about ideas, places or feelings.
