In New York, sounds about right. People walking by for 2 hrs with Macy's bags and all kinds of shopping bags with no one to stop to help this little boy except from a homeless man. So sad people today. I'm from Queens. I can attest this to be true.

This breaks my heart. There is a video on YOUTUBE where they did the same experiment in a European country. People gave the boy their coats, glove, scarves and hat.

Seems fake the homeless man had a nice gold band on his ring finger

Not everyone is homeless their whole life you know. It probably reminds him of someone he used to know or a loved one so he kept it instead of selling it
