this is exaclty the right reaction. like, if i am at a light and someone beeps after i start moving to gas, i switch to break cuz OMG YOU BEEPED I THOUGHT MY LIFE WAS IN DANGER SO I STOPPED

whhyyyy am i being downvoted for wanting to be clear i was referring to straightaway and not trying to fault caution on a right turn? should i have swore at her for caution? DAMN YOU JUST PULL INTO THE TRAFFIC. is that better?

You're getting downvoted because you can't automatically brake when you hear a beep. You can end up rear-ended because that's not a good response.

not my main post the one that's "not fun enough" main post has plenty of likes, because if some impatient asshole beeps when you're already going, its great to hit the breaks.

Illegal in Indiana. Just passed the "get the fuck out of the way" law. If you are impending the flow of traffic in the passing lane, even if they are speeding and you are not, you can be fined like 250

That's probably the most bullshit law ever. If you break the law by speeding, you'll be fined. If you don't speed, you can still be fined.

am pretty sure in most cases these laws are written more along the lines that in loose traffic you can only use far left for passing, not that a speeder can go ahead and a law abider gets ticket.

I do this. I'm a fairly fast driver, and I like to get where I'm going...but I'd like to get there alive. If you tailgate me, I will slow down to the speed limit because you are at an unsafe following distance, and the highway between my home and work is always traffic-logged due to accidents. You not leaving five minutes early enough is not my problem. We WERE all going 80, but thanks to you we'll be going 55 until you fall back.
