Seeing as the news is mainly made up of murders, mayhem, destruction and everything negative, I think stories like these are quite important. Any positive things should be reported more.

I'm gonna ruin the mood with this but....isn't it dangerous for that young of a baby to be around a dog all the time because they're more susceptible to germs/illnesses the dog may get?

It could be but it also helps to build their immune system.

Kids raised around pets actually tend to be healthier for this reason. They are also less likely to get allergies especially to pet dander.
