Sometimes i see old people sitting by themselves and i wanna go sit with them and talk to them but i can't because I'm with my family.
I plan on doing that when I'm older. Just to talk to them
i think they are assuming you know the backstory that used to come attached to this photo when it made its rounds on facebook and whatnot.... man eats regularly with wife, wife dies, he keeps coming bringing her photo, something like that.

Ah. Well now I know. The picture on the table makes more sense now.
I swear on the graves of my grandparents that if I ever see this, I will go over and ask if I can sit with them

My mom and I were at a Friendly's when I was very little and this old man with those wrist crutch thingies was all alone so she invited him to sit with us. (He was decked up in his army uniform. It was the cutest thing ever.) When he did, he had a heart attack and an employee called 9-1-1. My mom, being an R.N., gave him CPR, and helped him breathe until the ambulance came. We saved his life and it was awesome.
I plan on doing that when I'm older. Just to talk to them
