I've always liked the rain, but having spent time in the desert has heightened it to an even greater degree of appreciation.
I would happily live in the Pacific Northwest or the UK and would seriously consider moving there if employment and finances were not a concern.
And then your mother comes in and yells, "What are you doing in bed? You're already late for (insert extremely important thing that you absolutely must not be late for and forgot was today)"... This has happened to me more times than I can count... (School, graduation, job interview, breakfast date with my grandma...) The scary part is, about 50% of the time, she's pulling my leg. The scarier part is, the other 50%, she's NOT...
