The eight was because I couldn't remember the exact number ( sort of fuzzy memory ) and the killing all of them is a misconception that I apparently believed
Not a bitch (or maybe she was, but that's not the main point), he divorced her because she "didn't give him a son" which we now know is very ironic because it was genetically his fault. Funny how people died because other people in high places lacked knowledge. Of course, it was the Middle Ages, they couldn't have known anything about genetics, but it's sad to see that people die or get disowned over people in charge being sure of their decisions even though they are very wrong.
In his defense, though, I can see why he thought it's the wives' fault. Apparently he had a lot of bastard children, both girls and boys, because he couldn't keep it in his pants. Although there is the question whether they were really his. I mean, if you have an affair, chances are the other person has quite a few affairs as well, and some of the women may have just pretended it was his to gain "fame".
Besides, thanks to his inability to conceive a royal son, Elizabeth got the throne. That's a good thing!
way to go using a murdering bastard to try to make a lame point. This guy murdered his wives.....chopped their heads off....hes was a terrible terrible human, this isnt funny.
He didn't do it personally. He was a king, and in those days they could do pretty much whatever they wanted. He never committed and actual murder, he just ordered it. And like I said before, only 2 out of 6 were killed
Your argument was "he didn't physically behead them himself he just gave orders, well hitler did the same thing. Yes it was on a bigger scale but it's the same thing. You describe him as a king who could do what he wanted, so he used his power to put innocent people to death, that's also what other leaders like hitler have done, it doesn't lessen their crime that they didn't pull the trigger/gas them/ cut off their heads, it doesnt lessen the terrible cruelty that they used their extremely power to do what ever they liked regardless of the human suffering, be it they kill 2 people or 2 million, it's still hideous.
