Decades of filth washed away from an old building in Budapest, Hungary

I don't know, but cleaning a building that big can take a while...

You can see scaffolding still in place in the second picture so my guess is yes, it took a really long time.

in the photo it looks like brick, so i imagine while it looks nice when we imagine it as brick, in person in real life it was probably more obvious that it was buildup and less attractive. but yes, before i scrolled down i liked it thinking it was brick
