I have to tell you, no other story in the news made me sad and angry at the same time.

I feel awful about having to ask this, but what search terms should I use try and find this photo's story? Down vote me, please. I should know what his is referencing, but I don't.

A 5 year old little boy refugee was drowned, along with his mother and sibling while trying to reach the uk.

A Syrian man paid roughly 2000 Euros (which is quite a lot of money) to get his family across to Europe, away from their unsafe country. Unfortunately, the man's son washed up on shore ^ and as celticrose said, with his mother and sibling. Wasn't he 3 years old though?

it's not a recent crisis, it's been happening for years

Unfortunately, it's not a recent crisis but it's become unbearable. Syrians have water and electric shortages, they go days and days without water and electricity, and it only gets turned on shortly in between. :(

Death has a job to do, and cares not one jot who receives his gift....
