Yes... then you go to jail for illegally dosing people. Better hope nobody has an anaphylactic reaction, then you may get put away for attempted murder. You could get sued for restitution if someone lost their job. Essentially, this is pretty much one of the stupidest things you could do.
well, technically they were her brownies and she could do what she wants with them. it is the thief's fault for taking them, if he/she is allergic. Besides, if they are allergic to something, they shouldn't be taking other people's things on the slight chance that the allergen has contaminated it.
I agree that they should not be stealing food, but there are better ways to prank the thief that won't put the pranker at serious risk for criminal charges. She can do whatever she wants to the brownies, but be prepared for the consequences. In today's excessively litigious society, it would be stupid to do something like this. If there was no note of admittance, nobody could prove that brownies they stole were the reason they tested positive, but you could still get sued if someone had an allergic reaction (which would be found out by the label on the container on the brownies next to them). Sure, they would get a slap on the wrist for stealing from a fellow employee, but that isn't as bad as the lawsuit.
the note is proof of spiking the brownies, so while they might get a loophole from legal punishment since the brownies were shared against thier will, their job would be over bc of the drugs, and the other folks would be safe from punishment for drugs in their system, possibly saving one or two who were doing weed for real. it would be up to the job if they wanted to punish them for stealing brownies.
No, reality check. Also trying to prevent people from trying this and getting screwed over for some stupid prank. You could just bring really bad tasting brownies to work, then the message will get across; this constitutes a positive punishment which decreases the probability that your brownies get stolen in the future. Also, this method isn't illegal, and is still fun.
That letter would clear the people with positive drug tests of any wrong doing and give the name of the person bringing drug laced brownies to work. Would be pretty cool if it worked though.
Everyone is getting in such a shitfest over this. Do you really think people do this? No, no they don't. They make up posts like this for fake internet points. It's either entirely fake or they wrote the message but didn't actually lace them with something (chilli, laxatives, drugs).
They deserve every bit of it
