My progress through life.

Boil pennies in zinc sulfate solution while in contact with a piece of zinc metal to plate the penny with zinc. Heat the plated penny to 300 C to alloy the zinc with the copper on the surface of the penny to produce a brass plating that looks like gold.

I collect pennies. I have found a 1897 penny still in circulations!
