Men are not meant to carry a child.
Such an experience would hurt badly enough to make childbirth look like a walk in the park, and it could only end with the baby dead and the father crippled.
I don't know what OP is arguing against, but their argument is so wrong, no-one in their right mind would consider it a point.
If it isn't clearly stated, I won't factor that into the argument.
Even still, if the process changed a man's physiology to allow that, there's literally no problem at all. Essentially, that would only turn a guy's gender for a few months, completely different, and much less cruel and painful.
Actually they have made male pregnancy feasible. This dude in China basicly had a makeshift womb implanted with a baby. It has to be taken out c section and this is still completely experimental, but it's not crazy.
Mhmm well I personally am ok with child bearing. pretty cool concept, however if the church and it's followers, and the government could not worry what women do with their bodies, that would be great. For real yall mind your freaking business.
There would be abortion clinics next to every pub. If a woman doesn't feel she can go through with the pregnancy/care for the child then she shouldn't be forced to. And anyone that claims to be pro life is lying, they are simply pro birth. All those nasty fucks protesting outside women's health centres should go volunteer at youth centres/homeless shelters/women's shelters/seniors homes. If they're so pro LIFE maybe they can focus some of that precious time on the living who need help.
To be honest if that was the case, i'd carry the child and be a single parent. I'm sure some would share the sentiment, and birth control would still be an issue I think, since it boils down to specific religious beliefs.
it's too bad the original argument equates "birth control" (preventing a pregnancy) with terminating a pregnancy (thus terminating a life, or what many people understand to be life).
I am going to assume morgan here is pro-life, so she's basically saying a fetus has the right for its pregnancy to be brought to a successful end, and not to be terminated at any point for whatever reason.
It's not really a viable species when abortions are done, before a certain point, there is no brain acrivity, and you can't tell the difference between a chicken embryo and a human one (fun fact)
The heart is beating writhin a matter of weeks and no matter how tiny, they're alive. We call any animal species' fetuses a baby (animal name) but refuse to call our own as children.
They might be "alive" so to speak, but what matters are the electrical signals the brain is sending, and for a while, nothing is going on there. What keeps the embryo developing as it should are the "codes" within the DNA.
Soooo it's perfectly ethical to murder a child just because you don't want it? Birth control isn't an issue. You don't want to get pregnant? Use any of the various methods of birth control that are widely available. Or KÈEP YOUR LEGS SHUT! You make me sick!
ORRRR you get raped and have to take the day-after pill, which might not work, and now you're stuck with your rapist's baby? Which at an early stage can't even be defined as 'human', without a central nervous system to feel pain/comprehend? Should you have '[KEPT] YOUR LEGS SHUT!'?? Gee, it's entirely my fault I got pregnant, guess I shouldn't 'murder a child (sic) because [I] don't want it'! Guest, YOU make me sick with your inability to comprehend other possibilities where morality isn't just black and white!

Also not everyone has the insurance coverage to afford proper birth control.
Abortion is legal...it's a form of birth control. How about all dudes just get a vasectomy if your so keen on birth control, oh wait, only women are responsible for not getting pregnant.
"Sure!"
"Okay but are you SURE"
