They are lovely pets. Very clean and cuddly. Jut don't let it bite you. They can develop a taste for human blood

But still they are lovely pets and they're the only rodent pets you can take shopping. As soon as they get really comfy with someone you can put them in a shawl or in between boobs and they'll stay untill you get them out.

Yes, they are incredibly sweet! And smart. They can learn all sorts of tricks. Mine used to crawl upside down on a horizontal rope. I called it his Mission Impawsible trick lol

They are very sociable, so you need at least two. All of the same sex though, you don't want any breeding to take place.

My beloved rat died just this weekend, this really hits home. They are so cute and outstanding pets!

I had a rat I adopted from petco for free because someone just dropped him off. He slept with me. Chilled in this bag I specially made for him and rode on my shoulder. Even on the bus around the city. He gave me kisses and he was the light of my light

I never had rats but I had two mice four years ago. They would both get on their excersie wheel, one would hang on while the other ran and the mouse hanging on would spin around on the wheel, haha. They were great. Lived to be three, which is the average age for a mouse.
