That's not true, polar bears are the only kind of bear that actually hunt humans. If a polar bear is chasing you for purpose of food, you're most likely dead. The rhyme goes if it's brown lay down (play dead), if it's black fight back (black bears are easily scared off), if it's white good night (as in you can't run from a hungry polar bear).

The fun part is, black bears are sometimes brown and vice versa.
