Which is synonymous to Indian?

No it isn't, yecharon. "Indian" is the incorrect term, given by Columbus when he "discovered" the Americas, and thought it was India. The correct term is Native American, just like how "Eskimos" are actually called Inuit.

Even so, people still use Indian/Red Indian to refer to Native Americans. It's not very pc, but that's what people use.

Maybe it's in India.
