Every truck should be like this

What's that, officer? Well, even though my reasoning barely had to time to question my instincts, I ploughed into the semi in front of me because my reflexes told me to hit the gas when two veeeery confusing see-through trailers simultaneously pushed me off the highway going 90 mph....

The truck still has lights and frame, so it is obviously there; the screens really aren't that tricky. But, it could always be set to have the screens black until a car has been behind it for 15 seconds or so, then they turn on to show you what is in front of the truck.

I totally don't get this comment. For me this is just your everyday road for vehicles going both ways

It looks like it has a camera mounted in front that shows on coming traffic on the screens on the back, so if you wanted to pass the big truck you can see if it is safe or not. It's a normal 2 lane road, if you look a little further from the car there is another coming behind it.

Hm I guess. I thought white lines separated one way traffic whereas yellow lines separate two lane. At least that's what my driving book said all those years ago haha sorry

I thought so as well, so I got curious and looked up the see through truck and apparently in the YouTube video I found this is in Argentina where I guess they don't use yellow lines :/

we have yellow lines where I live but some longer two lane roads use broken white lines instead (lives in Washington)

Makes sense, guess it just differs from place to place. This is still awesome technology and any road can use it.

I totally understand what you're saying, lillydear, I thought the exact same thing.

Imagine if this technology got hacked to show nothing ahead of the truck.

Or to show a spectacular wreck of apocalyptic eradication to every 10th car to approach the truck.
