Second Law of University:
No assignments are given until the last 2 or 3 weeks of classes, where the professors realized they never gave anything, and are missing the grades. Students will wish injecting caffeine into the system was a viable option (or in the case of graduate students (and some undergrads, depending the major), alcohol)
Third Law of University:
When a professor exerts a force (ie a 12 page essay) on the student body, the student body simultaneously exerts a force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction on the professor (ie complaints, protests, and denials.)
Fourth Law of University:
A professor who has a last-minute appointment/conference/meeting/something will NEVER cancel the class. The TA for the class is expected to teach the class, OR an exam will be held on that day. NO EXCEPTIONS.
In the case the professor gets sick suddenly, thus making him/her cancel the class, a notice will be send to the students a 30 minutes before the class starts if lucky. They believe students commuting great distances is not a thing.

Everything that can go wrong, will.
It also applies to University.
