just putting this out there the kid didn't make the clock he took a random clock from any store and just replaced the outside shell
( I feel like there's a better word for that last few words)
to be fair it kinda did look like a bomb and the teacher had a right to be suspicious but extremely over reacted and made such a big deal out of nothing
To be fair, if I remember correctly, the clock was a mess of wires stuffed in a brief case that he brought in (without announcing he would) to the teacher as an extra credit project. It was a misunderstanding, albeit one that went MUCH farther than it should have
He didnt make a clock he took the guts out of a clock and put it in abriefcase.. Then when questioned bu teacher what it was he didnt respond or engagae with her but no he is victim because the school was cautious
He built it for another class. And was carrying it around when another teacher asked he said it was a clock and they freaked out anyway and thought bomb and called the police. Where he continued to explain it was just a clock but they never listened and then he was expelled
According to my understanding, they didn't evacuate the school or go into lockdown as they would've done if it was a bomb. I don't believe they actually thought it was a bomb.
Nah, they knew it wasn't a bomb. They thought it was fakeand was gonna be used for a bomb hoax cause his sister used to do that when she was there.
And I'm pretty sure ( don't quote me on this what I read could be wrong ) but his dad is actually a radical Muslim and they're already super rich because he sold a business he made.
Also, the teacher he made it for told him to out it away but he plugged it in a socket during English class and it went off and beeped.
it doesn't what it looked like when they realized what it was, they should have stopped instead they arrested and interrogated him like a terrorist, if he was a white kid it would haven't went down like that at all, and if he was black shit they would have shot his ass,,,,,the lack of common sense, and education is becoming a huge problem in America.
Did you not read my comment ? They got him arrested because 1. There's protocol they have to do, it's against the law to do a hoax so they had to call the cops because that's what they thought it was
And 2. His sister had a history of making bomb threats against the school too, so they assumed he did too because they're family
It's not a racial issue. It's them being careful.
Lets check your intelligence. The kids"clock" looked like a bomb. Whether this was purposeful or accidental is inconsequential. In an age where children are being arrested for drawing pictures of guns or kissing a classmate what would you expect to happen with this "innocent" device. Schools have universally adopted zero-tolerance policies and let me just say again IT LOOKED LIKE A BOMB! This would have happened to any student of any skin color or origin so thank you at least for not attempting to make this a racial issue. Check your facts.
I looked like a bomb, yet they didn't shut the school down, come on,,when it was realized what it was he should have been aloud to go about his business. use some common sense it the reason you have a brain
to the people saying it looked like a bomb,, I get that. but the problem is when the principle and cops realized that, they should have stopped there, instead they arrested him. it's the adults in that town that seem to lack any common sense. which ain't a suprise it was texas
There's protocol they're supposed to follow. They thought it was a bomb hoax and so they took it away and did their jobs, which called for them calling police.
When i was in high school there was a bomb scare, a student had taken a ball of tape and written bomb on it and put it under a water fountain. Obviously not a bomb. But the school was evacuated, the bomb disposal unit called in to investigate. Even though it was obviously fake. Police were called in to find the student. When the student was found he was asked about it but never arrested. It is not protocol to always arrest someone. When they heard that it wasnt a bomb they should have dropped the issue and left. Not immediately arrested the student.
The student was the principals son. The only reason police were called was to find the student. The student got 10 days out of school suspension. And it started 3 days before christmas break and the days of the break counted towards his suspension. So essentially he was only suspended for 3 days. For making a bomb scare.
The boy "made" a clock as a "science project" by getting a clock and taking the case off. Then he stuck it in his bag and took every possible step to act suspicious. When the school officals investigated, he acted even more suspicious and evasive. Later it turned out that his family has a history of provoking things like that...anti-Muslim reactions and whatever, then crying "racism." It's pretty clear that it was all a setup, but The President had invited him and his family to the White House before any of this intel could be obtained. The family later moved back to the Middle East in a big indignant huff, but the most recent thing I read about that is that they aren't too happy there.
Any child who brought that to school, it would have gone the same way. His older sister was expelled for wanting to blow up the school, and he himself has been a problem child in their school system. It looked like a bomb, and he is a Muslim. What if you were in class with him? Would you have been comfortable with that? America needs to wake up, Muslims are coming here by the thousands and they hate us. Did everyone forgot 911? And isis is killing everyone who gets in their way, taking major territory everywhere they go.
And why on earth was he arrested for being smart?!?
More like poc and white

you seem to think that Isis and Muslims are the exact same thing when they are not
