so am I, but breast cancer is very common. 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with it.

There are several cancer types with similar prevalence. I think breast cancer gets the most attention because early detection is possible with simple procedures, but also because breast cancer is one of the most easily treated with extremely high survival rates (if caught before stage 3). However, a significant portion of breast cancers do not present with detectable lumps, and nearly 90% of breast lumps are not cancerous.

What if I told you the Susan G Koman fund only donated 16% of their funds to breast Cancer awareness. Their CEO got pay $687,000 in 2013.

Sadly a lot of organizations do this. My aunt has ALS and we constantly wonder if they will find the cure before she stops being able to breathe.

Heart disease kills more people than breast cancer... but breast cancer gets more attention cuz you know... bewbs

I think it's more because it's cancer. People are more aware of lung cancer than tuberculosis or cervical cancer than PCOS

what? are you implying that men want breast cancer, or are you implying that men feel neglected because no one cared about their cancer? I don't know what's going on.
