Yes and no. The tradition is to dance the waltz with your dad and maybe some male friends or family. It used to be any waltz. BUT there's a pop singer like ricky martin they were around more or less since the same time that in the 80s or maybe early 90s made this specific song popular. A pop balad/ walts and that's the one everyone dances. Recently i went to a concert of his :) i cry when i hear it because reminds me of dancing it with my dad. Btw artist is chayenne and song is "tiempo de vals"
