No I mean look at that skirt. It's so goddamn tight. She's obviously sacrificing mobility in order to show off her ass. That's what prompted my question.
Well I for one believe my worth comes from my intelligence and ability to think and create. Honestly I think humanity has progressed to the point where the primal urge to mate has become secondary to the need to progress intellectually as a species. The fact that society is still driven by an animal-like urge for sex saddens me. People not only follow that mindset, but allow themselves to exist solely for sexual reasons.
I wasn't talking about primal urges. I was talking about all the times you turn on the TV and a commercial comes on with nothing but half-naked women trying to get you to buy a product. I was talking about walking through a store and seeing Kim Kardashian on the cover of a magazine completely naked. I was talking about every time a woman is given an award for anything in her life, the main focus always seems to be on what she's wearing. I'm talking about growing up as a young girl and seeing that society largely focuses on women who show their boobs and spread their legs rather than a woman who exerts her intelligence. Like I said: being conditioned since birth that our only value will come from our bodies.
I never shamed anyone for enjoying sex/showing their body. People can do whatever the hell they want. I was just merely saying that that's pretty much what women are taught as children.
Sex shaming is ridiculous.
