To save Matt have have to disagree about going to the tower. Your bitch girlfriend will get pissed and you go anyway. When you get there she will find a flare gun. If you agreed to go to the tower, Matt will shoot it right there. If he didn't want to go then he would put the flare in his pocket. That way when Matt gets attacked in the cave he would have the flare gun to defend himself and live.
