No actually they taste normal, because the plants themselves are so closely related.

They are genetically two separate plants, so will taste like "normal" tomatoes and potatoes.

We got one of those plants this year, they sold them in a greenhouse near us as ketchup and fries plants. Rather disappointing actually, the tomatoes were tiny and the potatoes went bad quickly
