I love videogames. And Ive always said they are like interactive movies.
But being made out of movies are usually sucky. I think you're right

Not all though. Star wars games are awesome, lord of the rings games were awesome, there are a few good ones, but usually they are pretty shitty.

Ok well if they're saying games are the deepest or most interesting to explore, then I agree. If they're saying that games made from books or movies are awful, then I mostly agree with some exceptions. If they're saying games are the worst no matter what then I'm outraged. The story in a good game is almost always better because you're experiencing it as a character, not just as a viewer or outside reader. If you disagree with this then go play KOTOR and the Mass Effect trilogy. Then come back.
