There's a fine line between whistle blowers and traitors. As for those who have been deemed as "traitors" of late, they could definitely addressed and handled the situation differently.

Edward sniwden himself has said there's a certain amount of truth that the NSA does bring. And not all information should be shared.

Yes but he also went through a lot more information than he released and released only what he deemed appropriate.

There's a huge difference between someone stumbling upon information (a whistle blower) and someone actively seeking and releasing information in order to become a folk hero.

Stoner: I think what Guest was trying to say by "actively seeking and releasing information" is someone who doesn't have a shred of proof that something is wrong but look for something anyways, not someone who stumble on the information and decided to look into it.
