Well with Ben Carson saying Obamacare is the worst thing to happen to America since slavery, I guess it's just American way to let people without healthcare fend for themselves in the meth business.

Can you explain something to me, please? So obamacare is free health care, right? Why exactly do the American people oppose that? It seems that anyone in their right mind would want free health care :| and sorry for asking, I just want some clarifications :3

The US government has seized control of the healthcare system. What that means to younger folks here is that they wil be forced, yes forced to purchase health insurance at hundreds of dollars per month with an annual deductible of around five thousand dollars. That means you will be robbed of several thousand dollars every year but when you need to see a doctor you will pay as if you had no insurance.

Obamacare is not free at all and you can even be fined for not having it.

Yes, it starts at hundreds, then gets to ridiculous levels as you age. It's highway robbery.

I understand that Obamacare does more harm than good. I was just mocking Ben Carson's ridiculous statement.

While his statement was sensational, one could argue there is some enslavement going on.

By this standard you could also argue that taxation and forced schooling until the age of 16 are enslavement. I just find it so completely inappropriate to compare something so minuscule as Obamacare to one of the most atrocious and inhumane practices enacted in America until less than 200 years ago.

A key difference here for American citizens is that they have been mandated to make a purchase from a private, for-profit business. I do agree, the statement is in bad taste, but ultimately it's about the destruction of freedom.

...you are aware that in Canada the waiting lists for treatments are longer, especially for things like cancer, so treatment might not start for months unless you can afford treatment in America

Canadafag here. Health care system works just fine, for the most part. I've never had a problem with waiting times.

"Especially things like cancer"?? Why do people pretend to know things they know nothing about... Treatment absolutely starts right away for anything life threatening. Even a regular X-ray doesn't take long to get.

I'm so sick of everyone thinking that this is the only reason he started cooking meth. He started so he could save money for his family after he died. He initially didn't even plan on going through with any treatment, and then once he did, cost was never an issue. The main point of him getting money was for his FAMILY. Ugghhh! Watch the damn show before you post incorrect crap like this!
