Well thanksgiving doesnt exactly have a seasonal atmosphere like Christmas or even halloween does. Its literally one day. Christmas is a whole season.

Our Thanksgiving tends to last that whole weekend but mostly because one side of the family will have Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday and there's a big parade on Friday that we're going to hopefully.
1) I'm Canadian. Thanksgiving was last month.
2) Winter doesn't begin until December 21st. If you want to wait that long to celebrate, then that sucks for you. It's snowing outside, so I'm gonna party it up.
But more excited for Christmas.
