I am obese, and am aware that I'm unhealthy. I am working with a doctor to remedy the situation. Making fun of someone never helps. We can have intelligent discussion about weight, health, and our different aesthetic tastes, and we don't need to resort to name calling or fat/skinny shaming. People are beautiful because they are people, and nobody needs to be bullied for any reason. Ever.

This post is making fun of the people who promote obesity, rather than obese people in general, even if the distinction is not very clear

The problem is that that's not how it comes off. It just sounds like another one of the same jokes we've heard since we were two.

no one promotes obesity, people just want acceptance and clothing made that looks good on them.

It has a real photo of a woman and a rude exaggeration. That seems fairly clear to me.

Telling someone they don't have to live up to Hollywood standards is not enabling. No one looks at themselves when they are obese and says, "Yea, this is fine. This is what I want to be". However, it doesn't mean they can't be attractive, fun, intelligent and feel good about themselves.
