my mum had chickens that liked to sleep up in a tree

Chickens are birds so their bones will be hollow so yeah they were basically built to just float

But if their wings get too wet, they can die. They don't have oil (or whatever) like ducks.

these guys shouldn't be in the water, they can get waterlogged easily and drown. there not made to be in water.

To anyone who wants to do this, my chickens drowned a few days ago in our pool when they flew over the fence and we were not at home. Chickens do not have oil on their wings so they get waterlogged, please don't put your chickens in the pool.
