Dogs don't act guilty, they just act sad. They're trying to get pity, which happens to betray their knowledge of wrong-doing.
Cats are just honest.

That kitty is so cute, it do bad things all day.

Its not "how a dog/cat looks like" its "how a dog/cat looks" or "what a dog/cat looks like"

Fact: cats are evil geniuses.
