Alligator, crocodiles are not indigenous to the state and while slightly similar in appearance that is clearly a two headed alligator. Alligators have wider, U-shaped snouts, while crocodile front ends are more pointed and V-shaped. Toothy grin: When their snouts are shut, crocodiles look like they're flashing a toothy grin, as the fourth tooth on each side of the lower jaw sticks up over the upper lip
Crocs are most certainly indigenous to Florida. It is the northern most part of their territory. Two of the 23 known croc species inhabit the coastal areas (brachish water) of South Florida and the Everglades.
